About the roleWe are a growing Temporary Work Agency based in Malta. Our focus is on posting workers from Malta to other EU countries (outbound posting). We are looking for an experienced HR Expert to serve as our licensed Competent Person. This role is central to our operations and comes with real responsibility and career growth potential in a dynamic, international environment.Your responsibilitiesAct as the official Competent Person as required by Maltese Employment Agency regulationsOversee day-to-day HR operations and staff placement processesManage relationships with client companies and temporary workersEnsure full compliance with Malta's Employment & Industrial Relations Act (EIRA)Handle onboarding, contracts, and employment documentationLiaise with DIER, Jobsplus, and Identità on regulatory mattersAdvise management on HR best practices and Maltese labour lawWhat we requireMinimum 6 years of HR management experienceOR3 years + relevant university degreeClean criminal record (police vetting will be conducted)Strong knowledge of Maltese employment law and HR practicesGood communication skills in English (Maltese is a plus)Reference letter from a previous employer or warranted professionalAvailability to be present at the office for regulatory inspectionsWhat we offerCompetitive salary package (negotiable based on experience)Key leadership role in a growing, licensed agencyInternational and multicultural work environmentProfessional development opportunitiesStable, long-term employment in a regulated industry
