OverviewAbout the DepartmentThe Insurance and Pensions Supervision function is responsible for the prudential supervision of insurance companies, insurance intermediaries, retirement schemes, retirement funds and retirement service providers. The team employs professionals with a varied background and varied skills in the areas of insurance, pensions, accounting, legal, quantitative analysis, actuarial, compliance and other related areas.About the RoleWithin this role you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary passionate team and will be responsible for supporting in the following areas:
To carry out legal research on insurance and pensions.
Assistance in communication, support and customer service of internal and external stakeholders.
Ensuring legal records are kept up to date.
Brainstorming, coordination, promotion and delivery of events, projects, and/or activities.
Other ad hoc duties according to exigencies as may be required.
About YouWe are looking for candidates with solid academic background in Law.The role requires a University of Malta Degree in Law (LL.D or Master of Advocacy level) or a comparable recognised legal qualification at National Qualification Framework Level 6 or better duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC).
