- Responsible for the technical framework within the finance function.
- Design and implement controls and systematic reviews.
- Ensure compliance with reporting regulations and governance requirements.
- Play a key role in the implementation and strategic development of finance systems.
- Bring significant experience in developing financial operations within a growing business.
- Act as the owner of group-wide transactional finance operations.
- Develop a framework for the efficient delivery of transactional finance services.
- Drive efficiency, cost savings, and continuous improvement in transactional services.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure high-quality service to the business.
- Identify and resolve process issues at the source.
- Drive continued professionalisation and business growth.
- Extensive experience leading a Shared Services function, preferably within a multinational or rapidly growing business.
- Strong expertise in transactional finance operations (AP, AR, payroll, etc.) and related systems.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable processes, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to drive efficiency, standardisation, and automation in finance operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Experience in setting and monitoring KPIs and SLAs to ensure service excellence.
- Strong project/change management capabilities, including system implementation and process transformation.
- Professional finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to align shared services strategy to overall business growth.
