The Job

Responsible for the technical framework within the finance function.
Design and implement controls and systematic reviews.
Ensure compliance with reporting regulations and governance requirements.
Play a key role in the implementation and strategic development of finance systems.
Bring significant experience in developing financial operations within a growing business.
Act as the owner of group-wide transactional finance operations.
Develop a framework for the efficient delivery of transactional finance services.
Drive efficiency, cost savings, and continuous improvement in transactional services.
Develop and monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure high-quality service to the business.
Identify and resolve process issues at the source.
Drive continued professionalisation and business growth.

Job Requirements

Extensive experience leading a Shared Services function, preferably within a multinational or rapidly growing business.
Strong expertise in transactional finance operations (AP, AR, payroll, etc.) and related systems.
Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable processes, controls, and governance frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to drive efficiency, standardisation, and automation in finance operations.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in developing high-performing teams.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
Experience in setting and monitoring KPIs and SLAs to ensure service excellence.
Strong project/change management capabilities, including system implementation and process transformation.
Professional finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Commercial mindset with the ability to align shared services strategy to overall business growth.
