This vacancy has arisen within the Traffic Development Department.Purpose of Position:To identify and support the development of opportunities that align with MIA’s strategic goal of growing passenger traffic.Duties & Responsibilities:
Execute plans to generate passenger traffic growth in line with the Company objectives.
Follow-up effectively on airline development opportunities and potential route development cases.
Compile progress reports whilst keeping the management team up to date.
Perform market research using a number of methods and sources of information.
Regular monitoring and reporting of airline or route performance, industry trends and market conditions.
Build and maintain excellent business relationships both with airline partners and other key stakeholders
Represent MIA at local and international industry events and conferences.
Support the planning and execution of airline-related events.
Work closely with stakeholders or other departments within the company.
Develop and deliver presentations and analytical reports.
Conduct schedule and capacity analyses.
Analyse data and present findings.
RequirementsQualifications & Skills
Background in aviation, business development, transport economics, tourism, or similar.
Experience or interest in traffic development, route analysis, or airport-airline relations.
Have good written and verbal communication skills.
Be able to work effectively under pressure.
Be motivated to work in airport/aviation industry.
Be willing to learn or understand airline economics.
Be able to meet strict deadlines.
Have an eye for detail.
Be computer literate and proficient in standard office software.
