We have a great opportunity for an Accountant to join a well-established group of companies. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of day-to-day accounting operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge who can thrive in a dynamic, multi-entity iGaming business.The right candidate for the role must have extensive experience from working within igaming in Malta.Salary: €48-55K depending on experienceRoles & ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate accounting records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accrualsPrepare and review balance sheet and income statement schedulesAssist with monthly and year-end closing, ensuring compliance with IFRSPrepare financial statements and regulatory filingsLiaise with auditors and tax advisorsEnsure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and company policiesCollaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payrolls, and transactionsEducation, Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting / FinanceProfessional certification (ACCA, CFA, or CPA) is required for to be considered for the higher end of the salary5+ years of accounting experience, of which 3+ years in iGaming - non-negotiableExperience from working with international multi-entity companiesExperience of working in Malta and handling reporting with Maltese authoritiesFluency in English (written and spoken)Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements in the EUProficient with ERP systemsAble to work independently and coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and external advisorsExcellent attention to detail, organized, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbout the RoleSalary €48-55KProfessional certification (ACCA, CFA, or CPA) is required for to be considered for the higher end of the salaryBased in St Julian's, MaltaHybrid-remote opportunityStandard working hours 8:00 - 17:00 (including lunch break)Lunch vouchers (=free lunch)Health insurance contribution €400/yearOpportunity to work within a growing, international iGaming groupCollaborative and dynamic team environmentApply with your detailed CV, please.*JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
