Junior Auditor

• Assist in the planning and execution of statutory audits under the supervision of audit seniors;
• Perform audit procedures, including verifying the accuracy of financial statements and identifying areas of audit risk;
• Review transactions, documents, records, reports and methods for accuracy and completeness;
• Prepare adequate audit working papers in a timely manner;
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reports as required;
• Liaise with external advisors as needed;
• Assist in the preparation of tax computations and tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations;
• Meet work plan specifications and deadlines;
• Perform other duties as may be assigned;
• Able to work within a team and with other departments in the company.

• Currently reading for an ACCA, ACA or a recognized University Accounting degree;
• Have a minimum of 1 year of work experience in a similar role;
• Be proficient with MS office applications, especially Excel.

• Demonstrate ability to rapidly grasp new information, processes, and procedures, while consistently delivering high-quality work under pressure and within deadlines;
• Possess an analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach;
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks effectively, meeting deadlines, and collaborating seamlessly within a team environment;
• Strong organizational skills, enabling the management of multiple tasks simultaneously.
