Workplace Type: hybridJob Description:About This JobPosition OverviewSmart Technologies Limited is seeking to hire a Junior Sales Administrator. This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining records related to leads, opportunities, proposals, agreements, and renewals, ensuring that all sales processes are accurately tracked and completed.This position is particularly well suited for an individual who is organised, motivated to develop professionally, and interested in pursuing a career in sales operations within the IT sector.The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Sales and Sales Executives to support efficient departmental workflows and ensure timely and professional communication with clients.Key ResponsibilitieSales & CRM Administration
  • Maintain and update customer, lead and opportunity records within the CRM system Assist in creating, updating, and tracking sales opportunities
  • Ensure opportunities, stages, values, and expected close dates are kept up to date
Proposals & Documentation
  • Assist in preparing sales proposals, agreements, and quotations
  • Follow up internally for pricing, approvals, and pending proposals
  • Track proposal status, deadlines, and expiry dates
  • Ensure signed proposals and agreements are correctly filed and logged
Renewals & Follow-ups
  • Assist with tracking contract renewals, license renewals, and MSP renewals
  • Prepare renewal listings and reminders for the sales team
  • Support follow-ups with customers via email or phone when required
Internal Coordination
  • Liaise with technical, systems, and accounts teams to ensure smooth handover of signed deals
  • Assist in gathering information required for invoicing or service activation
  • Support the sales team with internal follow-ups and documentation requests
General Sales Support
  • Handle general sales administration tasks as assigned
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Head of Sales and Sales team
Qualifications & Skills
  • Post‑secondary education
  • 1 year plus experience in administrative rolls.
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Comfortable using computers, email, and office software
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Willingness to learn sales processes and IT-related services
