Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department and its team members. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial processing, reporting, and overall departmental efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with the daily operations of the Finance DepartmentPosting journals and processing purchase and sales invoicesPerforming bank and balance sheet reconciliationsCreating, issuing, and following up on sales invoicesProcessing supplier and consultant payments in a timely mannerLiaising with suppliers and consultants to resolve payment queriesPrinting, saving, and filing invoices and other financial documentationAssisting in the preparation of management accountsSupporting the audit process as requiredPreparing monthly and ad hoc financial reportsRequirementsPrevious experience in a similar roleAAT qualification or early-stage ACCA studies preferredAbility to take ownership of tasks and work on own initiativeHighly organised with strong attention to detailMotivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentStrong multitasking and analytical skillsGood working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
