Senior Draughtsperson responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software. Works from specifications, ensures accuracy and compliance with standards, coordinates with engineers/architects, and supervises junior drafters.Key Responsibilities: - Develop and produce detailed architectural drawings and technical documentation for various projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and client specifications. - Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers, the Planning Authority and other relevant third parties to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate designs. - Review and modify existing drawings as necessary, incorporating feedback and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. - Utilise CAD software and other drafting tools to create precise 2D models, enhancing project visualization and execution. - Conduct site visits to gather measurements, assess project conditions, and ensure alignment between design and execution. - Maintain organised records of all drafts, revisions, and project documentation for reference and compliance purposes. - Stay updated with advancements in drafting technology and industry trends to continuously improve processes and outputs. Skills and Qualifications: - A degree or diploma in Construction Engineering MQF Level 4, or a related field, with a focus on drafting and design. - Proven experience as a draughtsperson in a relevant industry. - Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other design tools, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your capabilities. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of drafting work, with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. - Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese, facilitating effective collaboration with diverse teams. - Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting project deadlines. - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot design issues and propose practical solutions. - Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards is highly desirable.ProfilesIf multiple Education and Language Profiles are defined, please note that you must fit at least one of them, but not necessarily all.PROFILE 1LanguageReadingSpeakingUnderstandingWritingMALTESEISCED Level: Post-secondary non-tertiary education - Level (4)Competencies
