AI Analyst - Financial Services

• AI Solution Design: Analyse business workflows to create comprehensive AI solutions, including agentic pipelines and multi-agent orchestration.
• Data & Knowledge Engineering: Construct and manage vector databases to underpin Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, ensuring fast and accurate retrieval of internal data.
• Security & Compliance: Develop private AI implementations, such as local LLMs or enterprise-grade cloud solutions, to safeguard sensitive information and meet regulatory requirements.
• Model Evaluation: Continuously monitor AI outputs, refine models to reduce inaccuracies, and optimise prompts and workflows for reliability and efficiency.
• Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineering and Business Solutions teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing software platforms and core banking systems.
• Strategic Research: Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and evaluate their potential applications within the financial services sector.
• Documentation & Training: Produce detailed guidelines and training materials to ensure ethical, effective, and consistent use of AI tools across the Business.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience with AI frameworks and libraries, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) and RAG systems; prior exposure to the financial sector is advantageous.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English is essential; proficiency in Maltese is beneficial.
• Communication Skills: Able to clearly explain complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Interpersonal Skills: Team-oriented, collaborative, and capable of fostering strong internal relationships.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL, experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Chroma), API integrations, and agent orchestration frameworks.
• Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
