This Business Analyst opportunity is to join the central data function of a leading Maltese financial company where data plays a key role in monitoring financial markets and supporting internal business insights and decision-making. You will act as the translator between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that data solutions are aligned with real business needs.You will be working in a highly structured environment where you will help shape reporting frameworks and BI products across the organization while growing your knowledge and expertise in financial services and data analytics in Malta.   • Translate business requirements into clear functional and data requirements for BI and Data Engineering teams.
  • Support data modelling discussions by providing business context, definitions, and KPI logic.
  • Analyse data to validate business assumptions, identify trends, and ensure alignment with business rules
Skills / Experience:
  • 4 + years’ experience as business analyst or data analyst
  • Understanding of databases, data structures, and SQL for analysis and validation (not development)
  • Familiarity with BI tools from a user/analyst perspective – experience in interpretation, validation, requirements gathering
