- Lead the kitchen team and ensure high standards in food quality, presentation, and service
- Oversee preparation, cooking, and plating of all dishes according to recipes and quality expectations
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen, ensuring all areas are stocked and sanitised
- Manage daily kitchen setup and breakdown, ensuring all tools, equipment, and ingredients are ready for service
- Handle procurement, stock control, and ingredient quality while minimising waste
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, creating innovative and seasonal dishes aligned with the restaurant concept
- Develop and maintain training programs for senior chefs, promoting strong culinary standards
- Ensure full compliance with the Site Allergen Procedure
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth coordination during service
- Review and maintain Food Hygiene Policy with strict adherence to food handling and storage standards
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of kitchen staff
- Commit to continuous professional development and stay updated with culinary trends and techniques
- Two to three years of experience in this role or a similar position
- Strong organisational skills, including team supervision and workflow planning
- Excellent attention to detail
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong teamwork abilities with mentoring and training skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-pressure environment
