- Assist in the tracking and monitoring of project progress, including updating project schedules and status reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, ensuring that all project records are recorded properly.
- Tracking and monitoring of the team's resource placements and progress on projects.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and project related documents for senior management and team members.
- Ensure that pre-defined processes and standards are followed across all initiatives.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of templates, tools, and guidelines.
- Support the implementation of project management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and other departments throughout the project life cycle.
- Support the organization with coordination and scheduling of meetings and workshops.
- Schedule and participate in regular meetings with team members and project leads, preparing necessary materials, ensuring that project plans are up to date and following up on action items.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, both verbally and written.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive in finding solutions and improving processes to support the team.
- Decision-making skills: able to make basic decisions within the scope of the role while seeking guidance for more difficult tasks.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring all tasks are thoroughly managed and documented.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, familiarity with MS Project.
- Attitude: A can-do attitude, eagerness to learn, and a desire to progress within the company.
- Exposure to project co-ordination or project support roles and the software development life cycle would be beneficial.
- Any project management/PMO experience or a related role will be beneficial.
- Understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall) or project management certification would be a bonus.
- Previous experience working in a team support or administrative role would be considered as an asset.
