We require a maintenance HVAC technician to join our team.Duties: Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Understand the basic Air-conditioning cycle, including identifying components in the Air-conditioning circuit, understanding how each component works, using a manifold gauge set, and referring to pressure/temperature charts. Familiarity with Air conditioning recovery, evacuation, and charging is essential. Prepare parts and tools daily for efficient work execution. Complete tasks in a timely and professional manner. Manage job schedules effectively. Perform repairs promptly and efficiently. Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training. Maintain daily logs and records of F-GAS activities. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations. Adhere to service standards, company instructions, and customer requirements. Assist with customer queries. Qualifications and experiences: HVAC Diploma and/or other relevant certifications. Minimum of 1 year of experience as an HVAC technician, with a willingness to continue education in the HVAC field. F-Gas Certificate. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and literature. Wireman license A & B would be considered an asset. Fluency in English and Maltese, both written and verbal. Good hygiene and cleanliness are required at all times. Maintain a clean vehicle and promptly report maintenance issues to the office. Valid driver’s license. Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work extended hours when necessary. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Able to handle work under pressure.
