- Draw up annual marketing plans, covering performance, SWOT analyses, sales forecasts and targeted campaigns.
- Regularly monitor brand performance to ensure that objectives set in the marketing plan are being achieved.
- Propose and implement approved fixes for any variances.
- Implement marketing and advertising programmes in conjunction with the Marketing team.
- Track competitors and spot new market opportunities for management review.
- Identify new markets/products not currently being tackled by the company to enable Management to decide whether to get involved in these market areas.
- Present written and/or verbal reports on brand performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with foreign suppliers to gather insights on their marketing strategies, commercial activities and new product developments, analysing and adapting relevant initiatives for the Maltese market.
- Tertiary-level education with a positive, "can-do" attitude and openness to change.
- Willingness to visit the market regularly and travel as needed.
- Proven management-level experience in sales and marketing within a successful company.
