Handle sales and cashier duties including issuing invoices/quotations, processing payments, managing records, and assisting customers. Requires product knowledge, teamwork, communication, and Microsoft Office/Sage skills.Brownrig Supplies Direct are seeking an ideal candidate as a sales & cashier role. The individual's main role is to take orders, attend to customer queries and operate the cash register. Founded in 1977 as a family business and with a track record of successful projects, Brownrig Supplies Direct has grown rapidly to become one of Malta’s leading suppliers for Mechanical & Electrical products and services company. We are stockists for a vast range of high-quality material – to companies in the following industries: petrochemical, oil and gas, tank storage, shipbuilding & repair, commercial and industrial building, water, electrical generation, hospitals, hotels and general industry. Responsibilities & Duties: - Issue Invoices & quotations. - Operate cash register and handle cash, card, and digital payments. - Maintain accurate cash handling and transaction records. - Issue receipts, refunds, or change as required. - Maintain product knowledge to answer customer queries. Carry out after-sales service (exchange, return goods to suppliers, refund, ship goods for repair...)
Check cash register at the beginning of the working day. Count contents of cash register at closing time
Inform customer about extra services (discount, delivery, free credit, fidelity card)
Maintain and clean sales area and products in the department.
Manage and follow-up online purchases and orders
Manage stock; record shortages; place orders
