Gululu restaurant is currently on the lookout for a full-time Restaurant Supervisor to join its team.Gululu restaurant, located right on the waterfront at Spinola Bay in St. Julian’s, is a vibrant Maltese restaurant known for its relaxed atmosphere, authentic local dishes, and stunning sea views. Whether it’s lunch under the sun or a cosy dinner by the bay, Gululu brings people together with good food and great vibes. Candidates must be passionate about food and drink, have solid experience in the hospitality scene and enjoy being part of a fast-paced, energetic environment. The ideal candidates should have previous experience in a similar role and training in Culinary Arts. Strong communication skills are important, so fluency in English is a must; knowing Maltese or other languages is definitely a plus. The restaurant supervisor will support the Assistant and Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently, both in terms of service and operations.   • Supervise or organise hiring of staff
  • Monitor personnel activities
  • Welcome customers at their arrival and introduce them to organisation
  • Prepare drinks and serve to customers at the counter/bar, in their room or on the terrace
  • Advise customer on choice of meals according to tastes and day's specials. Take order
  • Coordinate and monitor services. Monitor application of safety, hygiene and quality procedures
  • Hire staff and teach them organisation guidelines
