- Manage the end-to-end processing of corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits, mergers, acquisitions, and other securities-related events.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with corporate actions, implementing controls to reduce operational errors.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Compliance, Contact Centre) to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
- Act as a point of contact with external stakeholders, including custodians, auditors, and third-party providers.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all corporate action activities.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of securities within the company's platform.
- Continuously review and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Suggest system enhancements, automation opportunities, and process optimizations.
- Keep updated on market developments, trends, and regulatory changes, sharing knowledge with the team.
- Support the Senior Manager with additional tasks as required.
- Previous experience in banking, financial services, or a related environment is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of securities, financial markets, and regulatory requirements will be considered a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong team player.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (other languages are an advantage).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
