Temple Group of Companies LTD, Malta, Europe is looking for a passionate Jewellery Designer to join our team. The Jewellery Designer must have 3 or more years of experience who has skills in CAD Software Matrix 9 onwards and Z brush knowledge.Responsibilities: • Proficient in trend research and analysis, with a strong awareness of the market. • Present new design ideas to the team, in line with current trends/fashion influences • Support the Design Manager to execute multiple designs, based on a brief/concept to help build the collections throughout the year. • Develop technical specification sheets with detailed information to share with suppliers. • Communicate with suppliers to review construction and materials when needed. • Focus on details to ensure every product is unique and considered. • Strong visual communication skills for presentations, mood boards, designs, materials, and colour palettes • Work closely with other Jewellery Designers to discuss projects and manage workload. • Collaborate with the Product Development and Production teams to ensure the high-quality execution of products. • Display a strong understanding of the design direction and strategy • Collaborate with our Brand and Marketing teams to communicate design inspiration and development. • Share collection information with retails teams through various channels and store visits, collating feedback. Requirements: • Experience with trend research, analysis and selection to suit the A&M aesthetic. • Creative and innovative mind with great understanding of the A&M customer • Experience with precious and semi-precious metals and gemstones. • Ideally 3+ years industry experience with expert skills in 3D modelling in Matrix/Rhino and Zbrush as a plus. • Positive attitude when facing challenges or changes needed. • Great time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Good communication within team, the role includes daily contact with product development and touch-points with other teams. • Comfortable working within a team but also on individual projects, showing independence to present designs when needed.ProfilesIf multiple Education and Language Profiles are defined, please note that you must fit at least one of them, but not necessarily all.PROFILE 1LanguageReadingSpeakingUnderstandingWritingENGLISHMALTESECompetencies

Analyse customers' demands/questions (create and adapt jewel/ gold work, select gems...). Advice customer
Apply metal coating (layer) via spraying or immersion: bronze coating
Assemble parts/components of workpiece (elements of the sculpture) and make them fit manually
Carry out expert evaluation of gemstones, jewellery or gold work (judicial, purchase, sale...)
Decorate: manual gold plating
Detect defects, nuances, alloys... of materials. Determine the limitations of item
Finish the workpiece (debur, polish, apply antioxidant)
Mount or assemble: tin soldering
Place item in the working area (check the balance, adjust)
Treat surfaces by: silver plating or gold plating by electrolysis
