- assist Compliance Officer and/or MLRO on clients across different regulated sectors including electronic money institutions (EMIs) and crypto-asset service providers, CASPs), amongst others
- assist in overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of clients' regulatory as well as AML/CFT compliance frameworks.
- assisting in monitoring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (MFSA and FIAU)
- assist in conducting risk assessments, reviews, audits, and gap analyses across client operations
- Providing strategic compliance advice and support on an ongoing basis as well as during regulatory inspections
- Delivering staff training, prepare reports for Boards and regulators, and assist with regulatory filings.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory developments and advise clients accordingly.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in AML compliance and a sound knowledge in AML/CFT and financial crime.
- In-depth knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks and related EU regulations.
- Experience within the fintech industry is an asset
