As Head of Technology & Compliance Engineering, you will act as the primary technology point of contact for regulators and financial institutions. You’ll oversee the adaptation of core products to local jurisdiction requirements, manage compliance-driven infrastructure, and translate regulatory obligations into technical execution. This is a strategic role focused on governance, resilience, and vendor management rather than core product development.Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main technology point of contact for regulators and local banks.
- Oversee the integration and adaptation of the product to meet jurisdiction-specific requirements.
- Translate regulatory and legal requirements into technical solutions and processes.
- Ensure compliance with DORA, ISO standards, PCI DSS, and the Travel Rule.
- Supervise vendor management, local infrastructure, and risk controls.
- Maintain business continuity and incident reporting processes in line with ISO.
- Define criticality levels for services and ensure resilience testing.
- Oversee technical risk management, audits, and regulator-driven change requests.
- Proven experience in technology leadership within fintech, payments, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of financial compliance frameworks (ISO, PCI DSS, DORA, Travel Rule).
- Experience in risk management, vendor oversight, and incident reporting.
- Ability to translate legal/regulatory requirements into technical language and execution.
- Understanding of wallet infrastructure, access controls, and data security.
- Strong communicator with regulators, banks, and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in managing compliance-driven changes.
