- Assist in providing both administrative and technical support to the Technical Designer and Project Coordinator.
- Compile tender and RFQ documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Support in the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, and cost evaluations.
- Maintain updated records of customer interactions, project progress, and tender submissions.
- Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing technical guidance.
- Assist in identifying customer needs and developing tailored solutions for projects.
- Maintain proactive, dynamic, and effective communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Offer a flexible and customer-focused approach to maintain high satisfaction levels and repeat business.
- Assist in office operations and organization within the department.
- Support resource planning by coordinating materials, schedules, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Work closely with the engineering and commercial teams to align technical solutions with client expectations and project goals.
- Assist in the coordination of resources and project timelines, liaising with internal teams and subcontractors.
- Work closely with engineering and commercial teams to ensure alignment between technical specifications and client expectations.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of supporting documents, drawings, and schedules.
- Monitor supplier relationships to ensure timely procurement and up-to-date product knowledge.
- Ensure proposals and project solutions align with internal quality standards and external regulations.
- Promote the integration of ISO and LPCB standards where applicable, mirroring processes in other technical sales units such as mechanical.
- Participate in internal reviews to ensure proposal accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with health and safety regulations.
- A background in administration roles within a technical environment.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in technical sales, tendering, or project coordination in a mechanical, joinery, or compartmentation setting.
- Knowledge and experience in joinery, furniture design, or aperture manufacturing (timber or aluminium).
- Experience in drafting quotations and working within structured tendering environments.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and technical documentation platforms.
- Valid Maltese driving license is considered an asset.
