- Form part of specialized teams in the audits of entities involved in a variety of industries present in Malta including but not limited to financial institutions, gaming and private enterprise;
- Manage multiple projects by interacting with a team of audit professionals including other professionals within the local and network firms, and also those emanating from other disciplines, demonstrating effective project management skills as well as monitoring financial metrics;
- Makes appropriate decisions regarding structure/resourcing of engagement teams with workload management in mind;
- Leads by example in upholding audit quality and adopting new approaches including new audit methodology and technology;
- Develop, coach, mentor and share expertise with team members to advance their capabilities;
- Proactively direct, supervise and review the work performed by the engagement team on a timely basis; and,
- Actively participate with the audit leader in the optimization and rationalization of the client portfolio building new relationships and nurturing existing client relationships.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or ACCA qualification;
- Have relevant experience within the external audit practice. Previous experience within Big 4 audit firms will be considered an asset;
- Be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality;
- Be effective in time management and in delivering results;

- Proficiency in English.
