- Assist the Sous Chef and Chef Tournant as needed in the assigned section
- Prepare food items according to menu recipes, quality standards, and required quantities
- Maintain the authenticity and integrity of recipes served in the designated section or restaurant
- Optimize cooking processes with focus on speed and quality
- Ensure safety standards are maintained at all times
- Comply with HACCP food safety guidelines, regulations, and procedures
- Interact with customers by communicating menu items and promoting featured dishes
- Participate in training and development programs offered by the organisation
- Foster a climate of friendly cooperation within the team
- Work within the department’s established budget framework
- Experience working in a kitchen environment
- Knowledge of basic kitchen preparation, various dishes, and cooking methods
- Solid understanding of authentic and substitute ingredients
- Holder of a valid food handler license
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and passion for food and innovation
- Willingness to work in shifts in a fast-paced kitchen environment
