Architect - Head of Property Development

- Design and execute a comprehensive property management and development strategy in line with the group’s business objectives
- Identify and drive new development opportunities, leading projects with design, architectural teams, and stakeholders from proposal through to completion, including new builds and renovations
- Oversee project design and management for all developments and refurbishments, maintaining strong collaboration with government entities, contractors, suppliers, and partners
- Optimise the use of assets and land holdings in Malta and overseas, ensuring best-value development initiatives
- Review and assess non-core assets locally and internationally, managing disposal processes to maximise returns for the group
- Manage budgets and timelines across all projects, ensuring delivery within agreed parameters and in line with the highest quality and design standards
- Prepare and present budgets, reports, and performance analyses to senior management, providing KPIs and strategic recommendations
- Oversee the performance of the group’s property portfolio, including hotel assets, ensuring profitability, efficiency, and alignment with long-term strategic goals
- Qualified Architect with experience in property development, project management, or real estate
- Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to drive successful outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, able to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Skilled in stakeholder management, fostering strong relationships internally and externally
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to delivering complex projects
- Based in Malta, with flexibility and willingness to travel for business as required
