Job DescriptionOur client is a family-owned business in the food manufacturing and retail industry. They are currently seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to Retail Operations.This role is primarily office-based however the candidate may be required to visit retail outlets from time to time, including weekends.Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing administrative support to the Retail Operations team, including data entry, document management and correspondence.
  • Coordinating schedules, appointments and meetings for the team.
  • Assisting in preparing reports, presentations and other operational materials.
  • Handling inquiries and communications from retail stores and liaising between stores and the operations team.
  • Maintaining and updating inventory records and other retail-related databases.
  • Supporting the planning and execution of weekend events, promotions, or operational projects as needed.
  • Performing other administrative duties as required to ensure the smooth functioning of retail operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role; experience in retail is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
