Play responsibly.”About the RoleAs a Risk & Fraud Analyst, you are responsible for monitoring, analysing, and assessing player activities and transactions with the objective of detecting and preventing fraud and abuse. In this role, you clearly distinguish between bonus abuse and fraudulent activities and assess risks across both the casino and sportsbook products.You report directly to the MLRO / Compliance Officer and work closely with the compliance, AML, and operations teams (Customer Support, Responsible Gambling, and Marketing). This position is suitable for an analyst with at least 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within the iGaming industry, preferably with exposure to the Dutch market.The position is based in Malta. The role can be performed remotely and or in a hybrid setup, provided you are residing in Malta.What You Will Do- Monitor player behaviour and transactions to identify suspicious patterns and irregularities- Analyse potential fraud cases and differentiate between bonus abuse and genuine fraudulent activity- Assess risk exposure across both casino and sportsbook products- Investigate account abuse, multi accounting, and other forms of fraud- Collaborate with AML and compliance teams on escalations and combined risk cases- Prepare internal reports and provide recommendations for risk mitigation measures- Contribute to improving risk and fraud detection processes and internal controlsWhat You Bring- Fluent Dutch, both written and spoken, and good command of English- Minimum 1–2 years of experience within iGaming, ideally focused on the Dutch market- 1–2 years of experience in a Risk & Fraud Analyst role, preferably with an online casino or sportsbook- Strong understanding of casino and sportsbook products and player behaviour- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail- Accurate and comfortable working in a regulated environment- Residing in MaltaWhat We Offer- Full time position based in Malta, with remote and hybrid possibilities- Working in an international iGaming environment focused on the Dutch market- 13th month salary- Sports allowance- Development opportunities within risk, fraud, and compliance- A dynamic working environment within a driven and professional teamWhy Work at Betnation?At Betnation, you play a key role in protecting the integrity of our organisation and ensuring a fair and safe environment for our players.
