- Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Lead and coordinate service staff during operational periods, providing guidance and direction.
- Ensure food and beverage service standards are consistently applied in line with hotel requirements.
- Monitor guest flow and seating arrangements to optimise service efficiency.
- Act as a primary point of contact for guests during service, addressing requests and resolving complaints professionally.
- Coordinate closely with the Kitchen team to ensure timely service and operational alignment.
- Ensure tables, service areas, and stations are clean, organised, and correctly set at all times.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate service expectations, daily priorities, and operational updates.
- Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and daily task allocation as directed by management.
- Support the onboarding, training, and coaching of new and existing service staff.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a food and beverage operation, preferably within a hotel environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Good understanding of restaurant operations and service flow.
- Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
