Paradise Bay Hotel & Resort Ltd. is seeking a proactive F&B Restaurant Supervisor to support the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing daily operations within a high-volume buffet environment. The role involves supervising service flow, coordinating staff across buffet stations, ensuring timely food replenishment, and maintaining high standards of presentation, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. Acting as a key point of contact on the floor, the supervisor will handle guest enquiries, resolve operational issues efficiently, and ensure compliance with hotel procedures, making this an ideal opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality setting.Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Lead and coordinate service staff during operational periods, providing guidance and direction.
  • Ensure food and beverage service standards are consistently applied in line with hotel requirements.
  • Monitor guest flow and seating arrangements to optimise service efficiency.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for guests during service, addressing requests and resolving complaints professionally.
  • Coordinate closely with the Kitchen team to ensure timely service and operational alignment.
  • Ensure tables, service areas, and stations are clean, organised, and correctly set at all times.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate service expectations, daily priorities, and operational updates.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and daily task allocation as directed by management.
  • Support the onboarding, training, and coaching of new and existing service staff.
Job Specification
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a food and beverage operation, preferably within a hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Good understanding of restaurant operations and service flow.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
