Due to continued success and subsequent growth, an opportunity has arisen to join an MFSA-licensed Insurance Broker based in Malta.As an Insurance Broker, you will be presented with ample opportunities for professional growth in a friendly, professional environment.The role is office-based and may involve client visits, with a basic salary of up to €40K + performance-based incentives.Role & ResponsibilitiesHandle the account of a large client, as their in-house broker, for industrial and commercial propertiesProvide excellent first-line support to clientCommunication and coordination with brokers, and global and local insurers related to the clientPrepare, review and submit insurance documentation such as quotes, competitor comparison, drafting of policiesCalculate rates for invoices and credit notes related to the insurance programsClaims administration and processing to the highest standards, in a timely mannerKYB incl collection, review and submission of periodic insurance-related documentsUp-to-date record-keeping of documentation required at all pointsEducation, Skills & ExperienceCII qualified to ACII or DIP CII levels, or University Degree in Insurance & Risk Management, or currently studying towards such qualificationExcellent communication skills in English, both over the phone, in person, and in writingFluent communication skills in German, written and spoken (strong preference)5+ years’ experience in general insurance brokingGlobal lines experience in the following classes: property, liability, marine cargoStrong understanding of local and global insurance principlesComputer literacy incl MS OfficeStrong presentation skills, ability to communicate at all levelsExcellent negotiation and networking skills, easy to build rapportHighly analytical, with strong numerical & organizational skillsAbout this roleSalary up to €40K plus KPI-related incentivesFull time office based in Sliema, Malta with standard office-hours Monday-FridayPrivate Medical InsuranceExcellent opportunity for career progressionApply with your detailed CV in English.*JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
