- Contribute to the development and execution of the Company’s Technology Strategy.
- Lead the planning and budgeting of IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee and implement the design, development, and implementation of new applications and system architecture enhancements.
- Manage the introduction and integration of new technologies across departments to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure the maintenance, support, and continuous improvement of all ICT applications and infrastructure.
- Maintain up-to-date systems and software solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Develop and enforce processes to maintain data security and integrity across the Company.
- Ensure a safe and secure IT environment in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement INDIS’ data and records retention plans and policies.
- Promote best practices in data management and information lifecycle governance.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration between the IT Unit and other departments.
- Provide consultation and support to Heads of Units and Operations in resolving IT-related issues.
- Manage the annual IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value delivery.
- Develop project requirements and budgets for IT initiatives.
- Oversee the procurement, allocation, and lifecycle management of IT assets and resources.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all IT hardware, software, and digital assets, ensuring proper tracking, usage, and disposal in line with Company policies.
- Lead the research and innovation function within the IT Unit.
- Ensure staff are trained and kept abreast of developments in IT systems and practices.
- Consults with CO and/or any other designated person in resolving issues and problems.
- Consults with CO and/or Legal Consultant and/or Chief Executive Officer when dealing with issues that are of a sensitive nature and/or of strategic importance.
- Keeps up to date with new trends, instruments and methodologies in relation to Legislation and Regulations that could potentially impact INDIS Malta goals, objectives and efficiency in this regard.
- Keeps up to date with the latest developments within the organisation and the industry.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for tasks, while seeking to add value to job accomplishments.
- Direct supervision and guidance from Chief Officer - Business Development & Corporate Affairs and/or any other designated person.
- May be required to work outside office hours in crisis situations and/or to meet deadlines.
- Site visits to tenants may be required.
