Land Surveyor

- Survey existing building structures accurately
- Survey land features, including boundary extremes and current ground levels
- Set out proposed civil engineering structures on site
- Implement setting out methods for proposed structures involving holding down bolts
- Conduct various types of land surveys for tunneling, marine projects, high-rise towers, plot divisions, and archaeological sites
- Calculate areas and volumes of surveyed and excavated land
- Set out corners, wall thicknesses, door openings, and wall directions for spaces such as apartments and hotel rooms
- Accurately set out stairs, including straight, curved, spiral designs, and garage ramps
- Coordinate with Public Authority surveyors to ensure alignment setting out complies with official markings
- Work closely with the Site Foreman to communicate set out marks and levels on site
- Minimum 5 years’ site experience
- Relevant qualifications
- Clean driving license
- Strong understanding of land surveying techniques and tools
- Proficient in Mathematics and CAD software (including Infinity Surveying)
- Familiarity with building methods, relevant legislation (e.g., Building Regulation Act), and health & safety procedures
- Good communication skills in Maltese and/or English
- Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team under pressure
