We are currently seeking a professional and experienced waiter/waitress to join our café team in Gozo.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in food and beverage service, coffee preparation, and general café operations. Key Responsibilities: • Welcome and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner • Take orders accurately and ensure timely service of food and beverages • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, teas, and other beverages • Assist in the daily running of the café, including opening and closing duties • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with health and safety regulations • Handle payments, issue receipts, and manage cash register transactions • Support in stock control, restocking, and basic inventory management • Work as part of a team to ensure smooth café operations Requirements: • Previous experience working as a waitress in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting • Strong skills in coffee preparation (barista skills will be highly valued) • Good communication skills and fluency in English (both spoken and written) • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure • Must Have the required Skill PassProfilesIf multiple Education and Language Profiles are defined, please note that you must fit at least one of them, but not necessarily all.PROFILE 1LanguageReadingSpeakingUnderstandingWritingENGLISHCompetencies

Advise customer on choice of meals according to tastes and day's specials. Take order
Clean tables. Clean restaurant area
Do the mise en place in the restaurant area and utility room. Preparing tables for service
Hand order to customer (on plate, in take-away container, on serving tray...)
Inform customer about composition of products (salads, sandwiches...). Take order
Offer wine list, advise customers and take orders
Receive customer and take orders for drinks
Receive payments
Serve meals at table on a plate
Welcome customers on arrival in restaurant, assign table and offer menu
