The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out commercial and residential building Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) assessments, providing Fire Safety engineering services, and managing projects from concept to completionKey Responsibilities:- Energy Performance & Sustainability • Conduct on-site surveys and prepare Energy Performance Certificates in line with national regulations. • Advise clients on energy efficiency improvements and sustainable design solutions. • Keep up to date with legislation, standards, and best practices in energy performance. Fire Safety • Carry out fire safety risk assessments and prepare related technical reports. • Develop fire safety strategies and compliance documentation. • Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure designs meet statutory requirements. Project Management • Manage assigned projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders. • Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress reports. Requirements: Qualifications & Skills • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or Civil Engineering (or related discipline). • Warranted engineer in Malta or working towards obtaining a warrant will be considered an asset. • A clean driving license. • Knowledge of EPC assessment procedures and relevant software tools. • Familiarity with fire safety codes, standards, and regulations in Malta/EU. • Experience in project management, ideally in the building services sector. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Maltese is an asset. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant engineering tools. • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
