We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Laundry Attendants to join the housekeeping team of our client’s hotel in Malta.esponsibilities: Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel linens and guest laundry. Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment. Check laundry for stains, damage, and report any irregularities. Maintain cleanliness and order in the laundry area. Ensure proper handling of guest items and hotel property. Requirements: Must be currently residing in Malta. Skills Pass is required. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team. Physically fit and able to stand for long periods. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Previous experience in a hotel laundry or similar role is an asset. Prepare washing and processing products and dose according to type of linen and soil factor (degree)
Distribute linen items according to different working zones' needs
Fill up washing, drying and folding machine with linen according to capacity
Lay out linen on hangers or racks and store
Check appearance of processed linen. Isolate damaged items and remove
Maintain machines (clean filters and grills...). Disinfect trolleys (carts) and bins
Start up washing, drying and folding cycle of machines. Empty machines at end of cycle
Take linen to the different work places
Sort linen according to type, colour and make of textile. Set aside undesired objects
