- Design, develop, and implement a new tax product using .NET and C#;
- Integrate the software with HMRC APIs, ensuring secure data exchange via JSON;
- Deliver accurate, high-quality desktop software that meets user requirements;
- Conduct thorough self-testing before handing over for formal review and feedback;
- Work independently on project delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met;
- Collaborate with a small, supportive team and report progress to the line manager.
- Minimum of 2 years' full-time experience in .NET and C# development.
- Strong knowledge of full-stack development, including ASP.NET, SQL, JSON, JS, HTML, and CSS.
- Previous experience building applications with API integrations is an asset.
- A motivated self-starter with strong ownership of projects;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Practical and commercial mindset, designing with end-users in mind;
- Strong problem-solving and self-testing skills;
- Effective communicator and team player within a small, collaborative team.
