A market-leading commercial insurance brokerage in Qormi, Malta is looking to for a Junior Commercial Insurance Broker to join their team. In this role, you will assist in facilitating commercial insurance transactions, helping clients secure coverage for businesses, properties, and other commercial assets. The role involves market research, client communication, risk assessment, and supporting policy structuring and placement.This is a hybrid role that may involve client visits and offers a salary of up to €30K plus commission.Role & Responsibilities:Assist clients in identifying suitable commercial insurance solutions based on their needsConduct market research, track industry trends, and gather data to support policy recommendationsEvaluate risk profiles, coverage options, and financial implications to assist in decision-makingBuild and maintain relationships with clients through networking, outreach, and referralsSupport the preparation of insurance proposals, policy documentation, and marketing materialsHelp structure insurance programs and communicate between clients, underwriters, and brokersEnsure all transactions comply with industry regulations and company policiesMaintain accurate records, manage documentation, and update CRM systemsEducation, Skills & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related fieldPrior experience in insurance, brokerage, or risk management in Malta (non-negotiable)Fluency in English at C2/native level, both written and spokenStrong analytical skills with keen attention to detailExcellent communication, negotiation, and networking abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environmentProficiency in MS Office and CRM softwareAbout the roleSalary of up to €30K depending on experienceHybrid in QormiFull timeExcellent benefits and career progressionPlease note that we are only able to consider candidates who are based in Malta.*JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
