This is where you come in.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Room Service Attendant to join Malta Marriott Resort & Spa.The Room Service Attendant is responsible for delivering food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a friendly, professional and timely manner while ensuring the highest standards of service, cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role plays a key part in creating memorable in-room dining experiences and supporting departmental efficiency.Essential functions:

Deliver room service orders promptly, accurately and courteously to guest rooms.
Provide high-quality food and beverage service while following hotel standards and cost-control procedures.
Set up trays and trolleys in line with presentation, portioning, and hygiene guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness of service areas, corridors, and guest floors, collecting used trays and dishes promptly.
Ensure all bills are accurate and closed correctly prior to guest departure.
Prepare mise-en-place and trolleys for service and subsequent shifts.
Ensure equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware are clean and in good working order.
Communicate guest feedback, requests, or issues to supervisors.
Assist colleagues and night teams when required to ensure uninterrupted guest service.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar room service or food & beverage role.
Excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly approach.
Good level of written and spoken English (additional languages are an asset).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Well-groomed, with a strong awareness of hygiene, safety, and service standards.
