In your position you will perform pre-match and live trading.What you’ll be doingAs part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

Compiling odds for a variety of desk specific markets,
Monitoring real-time sports events/results,
Building on existing knowledge of industry’s policies, systems and procedures,
Performing analysis of market trends and observing competitors,
Performing customer analysis and monitoring bet limits,
Performing pre-match and live sports trading,
Managing database and sportsbook related escalations,
Updating databases that will assist with trading/compilation,
Covering trading responsibilities on other Trading desks as required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals
Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope
Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
Demonstrable passion for sports,
Experience in pre-match and live trading,
Experience with various sports trading systems/tools,
Experience with risk management and betting patterns,
Familiarity with the industry market trends,
Knowledge on the industry’s key policies, systems and procedures,
Flexibility to work on shift patterns that include weekends and bank holidays, and may also include early, evening and night working hours.
Ability to adapt to new structures, processes and procedures,
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationship across the business,
Ability to understand the operational aspect of the business,
Ability to understand market trends and learning opportunities,
Ability to show accountability for own work and results,
Ability to achieve competent level of analytical and technical knowledge.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeveIt would be great if you also have some the following skills:

In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
