The group is distinguished and well established in the hospitality sector with its own branded db Seabank Resort and db San Antonio Hotel and within the leisure sector with its own branded Pearl Spa, Hardrock, and Starbucks development license and outlets, as well as its variety of established restaurants offering various cuisines.We are currently looking for an IT Systems Executive - Hospitality to join our IT Department at our Head OfficeIT Systems Executive - Hospitalitydb Group Malta is seeking a Hospitality Systems Executive to work hands-on with advanced hospitality technology, assist in system rollouts and improvements across multiple properties, and play a key role in delivering reliable, guest-focused digital operations.This is a systems-focused role combining platform ownership, project delivery, and operational support across our hotels and restaurants. You will take responsibility for the configuration, stability, and continuous improvement of our POS and hospitality applications, while contributing to new implementations, integrations, and technology enhancements across the business. While some end-user support is required, the primary focus is on systems administration, optimisation, and project work rather than day-to-day helpdesk tasks.Responsibilities
  • Own the administration, configuration, and ongoing performance of POS and hospitality systems across all outlets
  • Lead or actively participate in new system rollouts, upgrades, and technology initiatives
  • Support integrations between POS, property management, and back-office applications
  • Troubleshoot application, device, and connectivity issues impacting operations and guest services
  • Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver enhancements and resolve complex issues
  • Maintain system documentation, standards, and best practices
  • Provide operational and user support where required to ensure business continuity
Skills & Experience
  • Experience working with POS, hospitality, or other business-critical operational systems
  • Hands-on troubleshooting across applications, devices, and basic networking topologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with hardware peripherals (terminals, printers, scanners, tills)
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and contribute to projects in a fast-paced environment
  • 1–3+ years’ experience in systems or technical support roles (hospitality environments preferred)
