- Oversee daily front-of-house operations: greet guests, manage reservations, coordinate seating, and monitor service flow.
- Lead, train, and motivate the service team to deliver attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly hospitality.
- Liaise with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely delivery of dishes and accurate order fulfillment.
- Uphold our clients standards of service, ambience, and presentation ensuring consistency across all shifts.
- Deal gracefully with guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
- Drive upselling opportunities for specials, wine pairings, or set menus while maintaining genuine service.
- Support event hosting in private dining spaces (e.g., for special functions or group bookings).
- Handle opening and closing procedures including cash management, shift handovers, and inventory checks.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness protocols, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a supervisory or leadership role within a Mediterranean, fine casual, or upscale casual dining restaurant.
- Deep understanding of Maltese/Mediterranean cuisine or a strong desire to learn and champion it.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a polished and approachable demeanor.
- Organized multitasking ability and attention to detail during fast-paced service periods.
- Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and dedication to teamwork and continuous improvement.
