- Prepare and submit VAT returns for a wide range of clients across various industries.
- Liaise with HMRC and clients regarding VAT queries.
- Support the wider VAT team with advisory work and compliance reviews.
- Stay up to date with VAT legislation and changes.
- Assist with VAT registration and deregistration processes.
- Carry out ad hoc VAT assignments and projects as needed.
- AAT qualified or working towards ATT or CTA (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in VAT compliance or indirect tax.
- Strong knowledge of UK VAT rules and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.
