Associate Lawyer - iGaming

• Client Advisory: Provide strategic legal and business guidance to clients in the gaming and gambling sector, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and safeguarding client interests.
• Practice Contribution: Support the team by sharing knowledge and expertise in gaming, corporate, and commercial law, assisting colleagues and leadership with complex matters.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including supplier contracts, service agreements, software licensing, and other sector-specific arrangements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Advise on licensing obligations and maintain ongoing compliance with regulatory frameworks in gaming and other regulated sectors, liaising with relevant authorities as required.
• Legal Monitoring and Development: Stay informed of changes in Maltese and EU legislation and provide timely advice to clients; contribute to enhancing the Business’s expertise and visibility in the gaming law arena.

• Education: Degree in Law and a valid Maltese warrant to practise law.
• Experience: Minimum of two years’ relevant experience in gaming, corporate, or commercial law.
• Language Skills: Strong command of English and proficiency in Maltese is required.
• Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
• Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative mindset, fostering teamwork and knowledge-sharing.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in gaming and commercial law, contract drafting, and regulatory compliance.
• Organisation: Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines efficiently.
