Jesmond Mizzi Financial Advisors Limited, a company licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority and a member of the Malta Stock Exchange, is seeking to enhance its team of professional personnel.We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Officer on a reduced hour basis (25 to 35 hours per week), ideally suited to individuals with experience in fund administration, investment operations, client money handling, and settlement processes.The RoleThe selected candidate will form part of our finance and operations team and will play a key role in the day-to-day processing and reconciliation of client transactions, investment income, and settlement activities.Key responsibilities include:

Processing and allocating client income payments, such as dividends and interest

Posting of client deposits, trades, and settlement entries in internal systems

Reconciling client accounts and ensuring all entries are timely and accurate

Liaising with third-party service providers, including custodians and banks

Supporting client account queries and internal requests relating to transactions and account movements

Assisting the broader finance team in day-to-day operational and client money handling tasks

About YouWe’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented team player with a background in financial operations or fund administration. You’ll need to be proactive, efficient, and comfortable dealing with transaction-based processes in a client-focused environment.Education & Experience

Minimum MQF Level 4 qualification in Accounting, Finance, Investments, or a related field

Prior experience in finance operations, client payments, or investment firms preferred

Familiarity with client money handling, settlements, or fund processing is a strong asset

Job Requirements

Proficient in accounting or operations software and MS Excel

Strong numerical and analytical skills, with great attention to detail

Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English

Ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively in a team
