- Lead a high-performing Legal Team, delivering strategic B2B legal services that drive Yolo88's commercial and long-term objectives.
- Shape and execute the Group's legal strategy with senior leadership, safeguarding the business and ensuring resilience in times of crisis or regulatory scrutiny.
- Serve as trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, providing clear, solutions-focused guidance on strategic decisions, transactions, and emerging risks.
- Oversee the design and enforcement of legal frameworks, policies, and governance standards, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Direct risk management initiatives, aligning with Yolo88's appetite and compliance obligations, and integrating audit insights into proactive mitigation.
- Guide legal oversight of major transactions, fund movements, and new ventures, identifying risks and structuring optimal solutions.
- Lead high-stakes dispute resolution and litigation strategies to protect and advance corporate interests.
- Build organisational capability through mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and optimised allocation of legal resources.
- Minimum 7 years' experience as a corporate in-house lawyer, legally qualified company secretary, or attorney advising international groups, with at least 4 years in senior legal leadership.
- Proven track record operating in multinational environments, managing legal matters across multiple entities, jurisdictions, and continents.
- Expertise in M&A, corporate governance, tax, intellectual property, and cross-group legal issues.
- Deep understanding of risk management frameworks, with experience influencing or leading risk committees.
- Commercially astute, able to align legal strategy with business objectives while ensuring robust governance and compliance.
- Exceptional leadership and influencing skills, fostering cross-functional alignment and high performance.
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with courage to raise critical issues.
