- Process and post daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Issue and reconcile invoices, supplier statements, and payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with petty cash management.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on payments.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local VAT regulations and internal financial policies.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as required.
- Diploma or qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently studying ACCA/AAT).
- 1–3 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance support role.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and local VAT procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software would be considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English (Maltese would be considered an asset).
