An excellent opportunity has become available for an Accounts Clerk to join the Finance Department at the Malta Marriott Resort & Spa, part of Marriott International and one of Malta’s leading five-star hotels.This is an entry-level position, ideal for individuals who wish to begin their career in the hospitality industry with one of the world’s largest hotel groups. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the selected candidate will be responsible for compiling financial information, preparing reports, and supporting the department with a range of accounting and administrative duties.Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records and transactions
  • Compile data and prepare weekly and monthly reports and summaries
  • Reconcile various accounting transactions
  • Liaise with other departments to follow up on discrepancies
  • Carry out a range of clerical and administrative tasks in support of the Finance department
Requirements:
  • Strong personal confidence with good presentation skills
  • Well-organised, deadline-driven, and willing to learn continuously
  • Structured approach to planning, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office; familiarity with accounting software is considered an asset
