- Oversee kitchen operations in the Executive Chefs absence, ensuring quality and timeliness of food service.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and ensuring adherence to kitchen protocols.
- Ensure that food preparation meets the restaurants standards for quality and presentation.
- Monitor food costs and help maintain budgetary control.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on new dish ideas and menu updates.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef, with a focus on Asian Fusion cuisine.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate kitchen staff.
- Excellent knowledge of various Asian cuisines and fusion techniques.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and deliver quality results.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications preferred.
