Our client, in the hospitality industry, is looking to employ a Financial Controller to join their finance team.This is your chance to step into a role where your expertise, vision, and leadership will make a tangible impact.   • Take ownership of all financial operations, from budgeting and forecasting to financial reporting, ensuring everything runs smoothly and in line with regulations.
  • Design and implement strategies that optimise revenue, manage costs, and maximise profitability.
  • Provide meaningful insights through financial analysis, helping the team make well-informed, strategic decisions.
  • Manage core accounting functions such as accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
  • Partner with department heads to align financial goals with wider business objectives.
  • Safeguard the business by overseeing internal controls and ensuring compliance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, government grants, and incentives that support growth in the hospitality sector.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of financial management experience, ideally with hospitality exposure, or a Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A strong grasp of hotel financial operations, including revenue management and cost control.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, with the talent to translate numbers into stories for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and software.
