SASMAR is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Supply Chain to lead our global supply chain operations. This pivotal role will oversee supply planning, inventory management, and logistics to ensure that our products are delivered efficiently and meet customer expectations. As a leader in our growing pharmaceutical company, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and refining our supply chain strategies.Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Supply Chain Management to lead our supply chain operations. This pivotal role will ensure that our supply chain processes are optimized to drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance while maintaining a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. You will oversee every aspect of supply and demand management, from purchasing to delivery, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives. Your expertise will be invaluable in optimizing our supply chain processes to enhance performance and drive sustainable growth.Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the supply chain team to achieve operational excellence and meet company targets.
Analyze demand forecasts and adjust supply plans to avoid stockouts and overproduction, ensuring the timely availability of products for distributors, retailers, and consumers.
Oversee the development and execution of supply plans that align with customer demand and business objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and responsiveness while fostering continuous improvement and negotiation of favorable terms.
Implement inventory management best practices to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
Analyze supply chain metrics and KPIs to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor and improve supply chain performance, ensuring product availability aligns with market demand.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance communication and facilitate efficient supply chain processes.
Develop strategic initiatives for continuous improvement within the supply chain.
Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes that could impact supply operations.

Requirements

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record in developing supply chain strategies for a global organization.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with ERP systems and advanced planning tools.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Full permission to work in Malta, (sponsorship is not provided for this role).
