It provides top-quality materials to building and construction companies, contractors, and ironmongers alike.Therefore, the company wishes to announce the following vacancy:Group Financial ControllerWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Financial Controller to join our team and take responsibility for the financial management of a group of companies operating across multiple sectors.Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all financial operations of the group, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders
Prepare consolidated financial statements and liaise with auditors
Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns in compliance with local regulations
Manage salary processing, ensuring payroll compliance and accuracy
Develop and implement strong internal controls and financial policies
Provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making across the group

Requirements:

Fully warranted accountant (must be licensed/registered)
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably at Group level
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, payroll, and corporate compliance
Excellent analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Highly Proficient in accounting software
